Anna is the owner of Impact Tutoring Far North, where she works alongside a team of tutors to provide personalised literacy and numeracy support for tamariki and rangatahi across Te Tai Tokerau. She is passionate about making education accessible for all learners and believes that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive when given the right support.
Having Irlen Syndrome herself has given Anna a personal understanding of the barriers that some learners face and the life-changing impact that appropriate identification and intervention can have. This experience has strengthened her commitment to improving access to assessment, support, and educational opportunities for children and families.
As a trustee, Anna brings strong governance, financial management, and organisational skills, along with a deep understanding of the challenges families can face in accessing educational support. She is committed to reducing barriers to learning and helping create a future where every child can reach their full potential.
